Illness as a Metaphor [Market, Shops and Spas] - Anthony Rowe - 07-08-2020 Though one would assume it would be very easy to lose track of time when in a situation like this, Anthony proved that was false. At least, for him. Maybe it was the fact that he had good reason to keep track of time and fear the future. He didn't quite know what day or hour or minute it was exactly, but enough time had gone by that he was assuming that soon either his grave or lifeline would be coming. That is, the doctor. Or 'mental professional'. Both were the same thing to him. He kept quiet and didn't say anything, still clinging onto a hope that maybe they've forgot and nothing will happen, even though he knew that wouldn't ever happen. And as such he just started fidgeting and waited anxiously for whatever will come. |
