RE: Keep Your Grubby Fingers Off My Porcelain - Theodosia Strong - 06-22-2020

Theodosia was rather torn earlier when she caught this man stealing between the fury of the storm and her own morals, but now, she had few qualms about pointing to the front door of the inn. "Leave." The single word was simple, but powerful in itself, and the weight of her tone gave it extra 'umph'.

Anthony slowly lowered his hands to his sides again, and reluctantly made the walk of shame towards the front door of the inn. He was very eager to just leave and never have to look any of these people in the eye again, but he still felt so very embarrased. So he was off to lick his wounds, with what little dignity he had left.

Theodosia watched him go with her sharp glare until the servant standing there opened the front door for him and she called after him. "Sir?" Assuming he gave some recognition of her voice, she added sternly, the entire lobby able to hear her as most folks had gone quiet, watching, "Do not ever set foot on these premises again."

Anthony winced as he heard her speak again, and he stopped in his tracks. He didn't turn to face her or even grace her with a response — he just nodded his head, and tried to finally leave the inn, again. It wasn't exactly the words that bothered him — he wouldn't've come back here anyways, so it didn't matter — it was more the public humiliation that made him feel like absolute shit. Anthony didn't want to stick around here.

And off he went. Theodosia was satisfied by how he registered her words but didn't respond- apparently, she'd embarrassed him enough to keep him moving along -and turned to shoo away a pair of simpering teenage girls from a few twenty-something men, preferring to keep things, ah, appropriate in the Lassie's Faith Inn.
