RE: School's Out! - Elijah Crane - 06-09-2020

Elijah tried to sooth him and sighed. "Did they do anything when they attacked you both besides taking his coat? Did they say anything? Please try to remember. I can't find them if I don't know any way to identify them."

"No...." the child cried. "They just ran off..."

Elijah nodded and took out his notebook to write things down and sighed. "It isn't much to go on. I'll ask around the area to see if anyone else saw anything."

RE: School's Out! - Benjamin Ward - 06-09-2020

Ben put an arm around Bram's shoulders. "Surely you remember something. Did you not get a look at them when they ran? What time was this? Where were you?"

Bram looked down. "I was afraid to look. T was around three, just after school and we was walking back from school."

Elijah sighed and nodded. "Clover didn't see them either. It's a shame since I don't even know why they would steal a boy's coat. At least neither of you were hurt. Did you see if anyone was standing nearby who might have seen these men?"

"No..." Bram said in a small voice.

"Come on, Bram. If it was three there must have been someone.

"No..." said Bram, turning red again.

Elijah blinked. "Wait, if school was being let out, then Mister Meijer should have been there to see you children off. You might not realize it, but I bet he saw something. I will ask him." He said getting ready to leave as he jotted that down.

Bram's eyes widened. "No! He was already gone!" he said.

Ben's eyes narrowed, on the other hand. He looked from Bram to Elijah. "Aye, I think ye should go see him."

RE: School's Out! - Elijah Crane - 06-09-2020

Elijah smiled thinking he would ease the boy. "Oh I high doubt that. I know he would usually stay behind to clean up the classroom and such before leaving. Plus he would never leave knowing there were still children near the school. He seems like a very responsible type. You might not have seen him but I really believe he would be there. I will talk to him.'

Bram's eyes turned bright red and Ben frowned.

"It was far away from school," the boy said quietly.
