But Ben said nothing, just because the other man had advised him not to talk. Well, and to annoy him. Mostly to annoy him.

Anthony didn't like that he wasn't being given attention anymore. Alas, he still couldn't walk properly, so he couldn't really do anything about it. "Hello? Where are you going?" If he says it enough times, then surely the guy will respond to him, right?

Anthony hated this. He knocked on the wall with his fist to make absolutely sure that he'll notice him. "Hello? Answer meeee," he basically pleaded.

Ben kept walking, smirk becoming a genuine smile.

Anthony tried to pretend that he wasn't angry about this. He just decided that if Ben's going to ignore him, he's going to ignore him as well. "Okay, fine. Asshole," he shouted to let Ben know just how much he hates him and just how much he's going to ignore him now.

The smile dropped. But instead of sulking about not being able to get under Anthony's skin, Ben began to try other doors. They were locked as well.

Ben was very much getting under Anthony's skin, though he tried not to show that. So he just sat there, waiting until either he dies or someone unlocks the door and everything will be fine.

None of the doors opened and Ben finally sat down in one of the pews. He hoped his children had the sense to realize something was wrong soon enough.

Anthony just curled up against the wall, taking off his jacket and throwing it over his shoulders instead. If he's going to be staying in this cold, miserable church with a sprained ankle and a man he absolutely hates, he might as well make himself comfortable.
