RE: Strange thing, mystifying - Anthony Rowe - 01-28-2020

Anthony stroked the back of Elijah's neck, in a hopefully soothing way. "I'm glad you think that," he smiled. This was...getting dangerously serious for Anthony's comfort. Time for more humor with the intention of deflecting anything serious or personal. "but, now you aren't allowed to blame me if my advice gets you arrested or something."

Elijah looked up curiously and smiled. "How could you give me advice that would get me arrested? I'm constable, I have an idea of what is illegal.." Of course being physical with him was definitely illegal, but that was something he'd just have to risk and hope no one knows. Even if he did hate hiding it.

"Oh, you know. Charm you into doing something illegal with my sheer amazing charisma and wit and charm that no man can resist, not even a constable," Anthony grinned.

"Well I do admit you are very charming and charismatic." Elijah grinned and kissed him and hugged him close.

"But even so I pale in comparison to you," Anthony teased with a mischievous smile, kissing Elijah back and leaning into the hug. Oh, the thrill of love.

Elijah chuckled as he moved back on the sofa to make Anthony lean closer. "I think you may be biased. But I'm happy and I'm lucky to have you in my life." He smiled caressing his cheek.

"What a horrible accusation," Anthony deadpanned, perhaps the only thing showing that was a joke being the smile on his face and the fact that he just doesn't say these kinds of things in an actually serious way. He turned to face Elijah again. "but...I'm happy too, you know. Very happy, even." Anthony hesitated for a moment before leaning in for a kiss. An actual kiss, not just a gentle peck on the lips. Though the anxiety remained that maybe he was rushing into this, making him uncomfortable—and all he could do was just pretend the fear wasn't there.

There was a grin back as Elijah kissed him and slipped an arm around him to keep him close as he kissed him. He blushed as he made no sign to pull back from the kiss this time and let it linger.

Were Anthony not actively kissing Elijah he might have laughed or grinned or done something along those lines, but alas, he was a bit occupied at the moment. As it became clear that Elijah had no problems with this, Anthony pulled away for only a moment, shifring and adjusting the way he was sitting to make this more comfortable for him (which basically led to him sitting on Elijah's lap but that's just a side-effect you have to deal with at times), before resuming the kiss again. Back to business.

Elijah was confused for a small moment when Anthony pulled away. Though he was relieved that the man was just moving to get comfortable, he blushed when he was sitting on his lap. He smiled nervously but was more than happy to return to kissing the other man and rest his hands leisurely on his hips.
