RE: Strange thing, mystifying - Anthony Rowe - 01-22-2020

Hahaha yeah. "Oh, stop, or I'm going to blush," Anthony grinned, perhaps actually forgetting for a brief moment that he's done plenty of things he should be judged for. Oh well. The past is the past. "I'm glad you have such faith in me, though." It was only half a joke—he was genuinely happy that Elijah trusted him like this. And he trusted him too.

RE: Strange thing, mystifying - Elijah Crane - 01-22-2020

Elijah was high on friendship at that moment and chuckled. "Blush away, you aren't judged here.'He grinned and shook his head. "You are too hard on yourself. I mean it. What you need is.. a little faith in yourself." He patted his arm before petting Diane again. "I mean that too."

Anthony smiled. He couldn't possibly be happier than he was right now. Anthony glanced away from Elijah as he spoke again, starting to blush yet again. "I'll try to be...more self-confident, then," he said, looking back at Elijah. "I guess I can't say no to having more faith in myself if it's you who suggests it." Was that a bit too on-the-nose? Shit.

Elijah grinned, almost blushing himself at the kind words . "I am happy that you know how much I mean it. I will be here to support you, so let me help lift your confidence."

Anthony grinned like a fool. He hasn't been treated this well in literal years, and he is absolutely reveling in the attention. "You're seriously too nice" Anthony said, leaning his head on Elijah's shoulder subconsciously, before he had even realized ehat he had done.

Elijah chuckled and rest his head on his, not used to so much physical contact. "Hey... I'm happy to be this nice. If you feel like I'm spoiling you.. well.. l-let me spoil you. Just a little?"

RE: Strange thing, mystifying - Anthony Rowe - 01-23-2020

"Just a little," Anthony grinned. Truth be told, Anthony wasn't used to this much physical contact as well, but he liked to be close with his friends. And Elijah was a friend, now, was he not?

RE: Strange thing, mystifying - Elijah Crane - 01-23-2020

Elijah grinned foolishly as he was able to enjoy the closeness with someone. He closed his eyes and pet Diane as he wanted to remember the happy and comfortable moment.

Anthony also closed his eyes, enjoying the affection very much, indeed feeling very spoiled by Elijah. It wasn't exactly often that he got to be this close to anyone, so he was cherishing it. That's the reason he liked this so much—he was just touch-starved and Elijah was his friend so this was fine. (or so he was telling himself. but we all know that there is no heterosexual explanation for this)

RE: Strange thing, mystifying - Elijah Crane - 01-23-2020

It was actually too relaxing as Elijah felt himself drifting off and he was soon sleeping against Anthony after a long day of work.
