Elijah chuckled weakly ."Thanks, that's very nice. I'm glad I've found one person I could be honest with. And I hope you find happiness, maybe you can find others like me that you can give advice to. Who knows?"

Simon scoffed. "I'd be a poor adviser." He pulled his hand away and plucked at the coarse bits of skin on it. "I wouldn't recommend my choices to others."

Elijah tilted his head as he watched him. "Why? You can give good advice sometimes. You learn as you go and I think you've learned a lot."

Elijah smiled brightly. "Always good to look at things from many angles."

Simon gave him a light push to the shoulder. "I'll miss you."

Elijah chuckled and pushed him back gently. "I'll miss you too. Once you get settled I'll visit, alright?" He was honestly curious as he was certain there was someone in Simon's life and wondered if he'd get to meet him. He wanted to make sure Simon was taken care of.
