Elijah managed to lift an arm to wave to Simon. He remained contently unconscious until morning. When it was time to get up, he went to wash up before heading towards the kitchen.

Simon was still snoring on the sofa.

Elijah smiled and started to make breakfast. He paused while it simmered and leaned over to nudge his shoulder. "You want to wake up yet?"

At that, Simon sat up straight real quick, and looked around him, then he relaxed. "You scared the hell out me me there."

Elijah chuckled weakly. "Sorry. I didn't know how to wake you to ask if you wished for breakfast..."

"You? Are you sure? I don't mind cooking." Elijah wouldn't stop him, but he wanted Simon to take it easy. While thinking about it, he walked towards him. "Oh, and how are you feeling? Simon could do some elementary cooking, but probably not as good as a man who lived alone without a maid. He bit his lip uncomfortably when Elijah asked about his injuries. He didn't know what was worse: the pain, or the humiliation. "Sore, but don't worry. I slept, thanks to your generosity. It will be alright. Erm... do you have a wash stand for me? I'll come help you with breakfast when I'm dressed."

Elijah nodded and gestured to where the one he used was. "Take your time. I don't want you to push yourself..." He smiled though was clearly concerned. He let Simon be as he went to the kitchen and began immediately cooking.

Simon changed and washed himself slowly. He did take time, since changing required movements that made him sore. When he was dressed, he returned, placing the pajamas on the sofa. "What can I do?"
