RE: Running out of time - Elijah Crane - 01-17-2020

"Will?" Elijah looked curiously at him as he poured another. "He is young. He'll understand some day. Especially when you thrive in the city."

RE: Running out of time - Jack - 01-17-2020

Simon nodded. He sipped his drink. "Father might be even angrier with ye." he said. "But I suppose once I've shown I can thrive in the city and help out, he'll come round and might admit he's been an ass to you." In a few decades. Stubborn old goat.

"Good thing I don't live under his roof then." He cracked a smile as he drank. "Yep. You'll be able to show him. I think a chance to breath and without worries will do well for you." He sipped more and closed his eyes.

Simon downed another glass. He was starting to feel better. "Yeah, I'll show t' old bastard," he said.

RE: Running out of time - Elijah Crane - 01-17-2020

Elijah frowned and relaxed as he leaned back. "Just prove by being happy. But Simon.."

He looked at the younger man with a serious expression. "If.. just if.. York doesn't work out. Let me know. You have nothing to prove to me. I'll help you try somewhere else."

RE: Running out of time - Jack - 01-17-2020

Simon looked at Elijah uncomfortably. He nodded but added: "I have to believe it will work out."

RE: Running out of time - Elijah Crane - 01-17-2020

Elijah frowned as he thought York would work out for him too. "Maybe it will. You're made of stronger stuff than I am, Simon. But the world is a big place. I always want to believe there is some other option. If I check up on you and you're still getting late night drunk and 'stealing' money... I'm going to be very disappointed."

RE: Running out of time - Jack - 01-17-2020

[CW: explicit sexual language]

Simon shot red and looked away. "I don't... I don't intend to do that anymore. I didn't mean to at all." Yeah. He had totally accidentally sucked cock and gotten paid for it. Could happen to anyone.

RE: Running out of time - Elijah Crane - 01-17-2020

Elijah glanced at him calmly. "You felt desperate. I'm not judging you. I can't say this officially, but.. I'm prouder that you did it that way rather than stealing. Though I suppose I'm not one who can judge someone on something like this." He frowned awkwardly and downed the rest of his drink then pushed it away. It was too much, he knew he shouldn't have any more.

RE: Running out of time - Jack - 01-17-2020

Simon kept drinking. The bottle was almost empty. He didn't like talking about this. "Well, York will be like a clean slate." He frowned. He could forget everything that had passed and he would never have to tell Zech. He'd be a new man once he was there and out of this hell, so it wouldn't matter anymore, would it? "Well... When you visit, I'll be doing great, I promise."

When Elijah would visit, he would be in fucking prison.
