Elijah sighed and hugged him. "People can be mean when they are upset or angry. Right? It doesn't mean they really want to be. Can you please help me look? I'll help you out with something . Maybe getting out of school for one day?"

Bram nodded and ran off. The girls were not at Elijah's place. The clock stuck eleven.

Elijah was losing his mind. Where could they be? He wandered around so now he headed to their church. Maybe at least one went to look there for the other or answers.

Elijah broke loose. He screamed in frustration and sat on the steps before it holding his head.

The minister came out to the adjacent house, wearing a black suit and tie and a black hat. "Oh dear, Constable Crane. Is everything alright?"
