RE: I'm a monster - James Longbottom - 05-16-2020

"I ain't takin' no lectures from-," But the man stopped. He had now been hit in the back of the head with more seaweed. He turned, but there was nothing to be seen.

RE: I'm a monster - Saoirse O'Connell - 05-16-2020

Saoirse tried to keep her composure, but she couldn't resist snickering a little at the man getting ambushed like that. "Sorry, what was that?"

RE: I'm a monster - James Longbottom - 05-16-2020

The man glared back at Saoirse, but then moved in the direction where the seaweed had come from. Suddenly, James jumped up and shot again - a rock this time. It hit the man on the head and down he went - unconscious....

Saoirse watched, mouth slightly agape in surprise as the man just...fell to the ground, after being hit on the head with a rock. Damn. Suddenly she was a bit less enthusiastic about this. A bit too concerned right now to even berate the boy, she crouched down, wanting to see if the man was dead or just knocked out. She was very much hoping for the latter.

The man was breathing - but that was about it.

James approached them. "Bet he didn't see that coming!"

Well, at least he was alive. For now.

"You shouldn't be so proud about it," Saoirse finally said. "you could kill someone, doing that."

RE: I'm a monster - James Longbottom - 05-16-2020

James frowned. "Is he dead?" he asked in a rather matter-of-fact manner.

RE: I'm a monster - Saoirse O'Connell - 05-16-2020

Saoirse bit her lip as she thought, for a moment. "Yes." That'll keep him from doing it again, for sure!

RE: I'm a monster - James Longbottom - 05-16-2020

"Oh..." James didn't know he could shoot so well. "We should probably get away from here..."

RE: I'm a monster - Saoirse O'Connell - 05-16-2020

Saoirse had expected.....more of a reaction. "Yeah, we should," she nodded. She was hoping that the lackluster reaction was just a 'childhood naivety' thing and not this kid being a sociopath who doesn't care about murdering someone.
