RE: I'm a monster - James Longbottom - 05-16-2020

James' smile fell.

RE: I'm a monster - Saoirse O'Connell - 05-16-2020

Apparently that was not the answer he was looking for. "It was still a good prank, and all," she immediately tried to backtrack.

RE: I'm a monster - James Longbottom - 05-16-2020

James gave her a smaller smile. "Thanks," he shivered. "Do ye wanna see another one?"

RE: I'm a monster - Saoirse O'Connell - 05-16-2020

Saoirse nodded. "Sure. Go ahead."

RE: I'm a monster - James Longbottom - 05-16-2020

James took a small catapult from his pocket and put some seaweed into the sling. Then he moved over to one of the large rocks nearby, waited for a man to pass and catapulted the seaweed at him. James instantly took cover behind the rock, while the seaweed hit the man on the side of the head. He turned in their direction. "What the hell!?"

RE: I'm a monster - Saoirse O'Connell - 05-16-2020

Saoirse watched with growing curiosity, as the boy did....whatever he was doing. She exhaled sharply as she saw  the kid just catapult sone seaweed at a man's head, and covered her mouth with her hand to try and hold back the laughter. Too bad that the man didn't seem as amused.

RE: I'm a monster - James Longbottom - 05-16-2020

James remained hidden from view, and so all the man saw was Saoirse laughing. "Ye think that's funny!?" The man began to walk in her direction.

RE: I'm a monster - Saoirse O'Connell - 05-16-2020

Saoirse was willing to take the blame, this one time. "Yeah," she just said very plainly. She wasn't intimidated by him at all, really.

RE: I'm a monster - James Longbottom - 05-16-2020

"Have ye no decency!? Disrupting hard working people!?"

As the man moved over, James moved around the rock.

The man, meanwhile got near Saoirse.

RE: I'm a monster - Saoirse O'Connell - 05-16-2020

"If you were truly such a hard-working person that is engrossed in your work like I am interpreting you to be, would it not be better to simply ignore my 'disruption'? Would it not be better and show more of your good character to not let this small thing interrupt your working, instead of running to confront whomever it was that did so like you are right now?" Saoirse was just ranting cluelessly, now. She was just trying to intimidate this guy by being a woman that uses big words.
