James took another rock and handed it to her. "Now try a window."

Saoirse was quite hesitant, regarding that, but figured that it's not really a big deal if she does it. So she took the rock, aimed at a window, and — instant guilt as soon as the window broke.

James on the other hand, laughed out loud now, despite the fact that a scream rose from the house.

Oh, that was very guilt-inducing. She let out a fake laugh as to seem like she's having fun. In reality, though, she's probably going to be haunted by this for a few months, at least.

"Let's go somewhere else, before they catch us," James whispered, and he rose and began to run.

Well, she agreed with that, at least. Saoirse nodded, stood up and began to run, following James to whereever he was going.

James ran through several streets and lanes until they reached the harbour. It was crowded with fishermen talking and having a smoke, boats unloading cargo, and seagulls bullying unsuspecting tourists. James stopped running at last and grinned back at Sooirse. "That was fun."

Saoirse stopped as they had reached their destination. She tucked behind her ear a few strands of hair, and laughed lightly as she looked down at James. "It was," she nodded. Not the ruining-people's-windows part, but the other parts.

James grinned. He held out his hand. "Can I have my sling shot back, please?" He didn't want the lady to keep it and run off with it to do pranks without him.
