"Oh." James stopped mid-climb. "Then I don't really have other pranks."

Saoirse narrowed her eyes slightly. "So all of your pranks involve beating people with rocks, then?"

The child climbed back into the room. "Sometimes I hit bottles in the market."

"Well, that seems better than hitting people," Saoirse admitted. And it seemed more fun, as well, but she didn't say that out loud.

"Yeah, they get all surprised when the bottles explode. Its really funny," James said with a grin. "Do you want to try it?"

"I mean, okay," Saoirse shrugged. Seemed like a better way to spend time than just go forth and keep beating actual, living people. "seems fun."

James smiled and started climbing out again, and if she followed, walked to an alley close to the market, where he crouched behind a barrel and observed. He spotted a stand with jars of all sorts and pointed. The he handed to sling shot to Saoirse and picked up a small rock, which he also gave her.

Saoirse followed the boy, very interested in what exactly it is they'll be doing, now. She looked towards the jars that James pointed at, and accepted the slingshot.

She aimed, and — it hit the jar. Sound of glass shattering ensued. Fuck yeah.

James tried to stifle his laughter as the jar broke and ladies shrieked and a people looked around confused. "Nice one," he whispered.

Saoirse grinned. This was much more fun than she expected that it would be. She put the back of her hand to her mouth as to muffle the laughter she could feel coming. "Thank you kindly," she whispered, as well.
