Noah cursed loudly and turned to his little brother. "Go get yerself in trouble then. I don't care." He climbed through the window.

This was becoming very confusing, now. She didn't know what she was supposed to do, and now it was a bit late to even attempt something. "Well, goodbye, then," she muttered to herself, as she looked at the window which the older kid climbed through.

"Don't worry. He's always angry," said James, who had finished his pie and moved on to the bread. "I like you."

"Oh. Well, thank you," Saoirse smiled at the boy for a moment while she responded to the compliment, before turning to absently look at the window again.
