James reached over and hugged her, probably getting his dirt smelliness all over her. "Thank you."

The hug was unexpected and kind of uncomfortable and gross, but she appreciated the sentiment of it. "You're welcome," she said. Cue awkward silence. "...well, I should get going, then."

James didn't trust her to leave and actually come back. "Can I come with you?"

"Sure, okay, you can come with me," Saoirse agreed.

"Great!" James climbed out of the window, passed through the alley and stopped at the street.

Saoirse followed after the boy, catching up with him near the street. "To the market we go, then," she narrated where she was going to go, now.

James walked in that direction. His clothes had dried up, luckily, but it was still cold. He looked up at the woman as he walked. "You're nice."

Saoirse looked down at the kid. "Oh. Thank you," she said, before turning her attention back to the street, just trying to get this little trip done and over with.

Saoirse just kept on walking, until the two finally reached the market. Well, time to go buy food or something, now. "Look around and tell me what you want me to buy."
