RE: Siren - Pearl Blacke - 09-15-2019 It's what YOU are thinking, she didn't say. First thing was first, she lay the blanket out with the basket of food on it, and then she grinned at him and asked, "I suggest we swim first, then eat. You will get very hungry from the swim. Your first lesson is on floating." RE: Siren - Pony McBride - 09-15-2019 Pony looked at her. "Your food smells great. I can't wait, but you are probably right." He started to slip off his clothes to just his underwear and stretched. "I am putting my life in your hands." RE: Siren - Pearl Blacke - 09-15-2019 She stripped to her underthings as well, though she couldn't help but to eye him in a sidelong glance every now and then. She bit her lip and then suddenly said, "I'll race you to the surf!" And then took off without warning. RE: Siren - Pony McBride - 09-16-2019 Pony was trying to get used to the idea he was about to plunge into the ocean but before he could fully accept it, she went running. He looked at her wide eyed then grinned huge and took off after her, the spirit of the moment taking him. "Will you win??" RE: Siren - Pearl Blacke - 09-16-2019 She laughed, "Watch me," and plodded through the sand toward the surf. Whether she got there first or last, she jogged into the water until she was waist deep and swept off her feet by an incoming wave. When she surfaced, she was laughing with such joy. RE: Siren - Pony McBride - 09-17-2019 She already had a head start , and while Pony caught up he froze right before he touched the foaming waves. He saw her get knocked down and laugh and slowly made his way into the chilly water. "Ah! Its a bit cold!" RE: Siren - Pearl Blacke - 09-17-2019 "Keep moving," she said, and then she moved to him, taking his hand and guiding him in further. "You'll get used to the water faster if you keep moving." RE: Siren - Pony McBride - 09-17-2019 Pony squeezed her hand as he walked and shivered slightly even after getting in up to his chest. "I suppose you're right. so what is my first lesson, oh teacher of mine?" He said to her with a small smile. RE: Siren - Pearl Blacke - 09-17-2019 "Laying on your back and floating. You have to know how to float before you can swim. Come on now, lay back on the water and just relax. It will seem daunting at first with the waves, but you have to let them come." She then demonstrated just how to do it, laying back, just relaxing. She floated easily. RE: Siren - Pony McBride - 09-17-2019 Pony rose his brow as he watched her, looking quite uncertain. Even as she showed him how it was done, he couldn't feel he'd be able to just float. He tried but more than once failed as he seemed to think he could force his legs into position on the water. Once he fell completely under by surprise and coughed. He tried to keep it in good humor as he brushed back his wet hair and smiled sheepishly. "I think I take to floating like a stone." |
