It was mid-morning the next day, when Tristan finally called. He had spent some time wandering around, almost becoming desperate, since everything looked the same, and yet nothing looked the same as it had by street lantern light last night. But finally he found a building that looked familiar and after asking around, he had been directed to the right apartment. He hoped it was the right apartment. He had forgotten the man's name and so he had been forced to describe him.
He knocked on the door.

Anthony was still asleep when Tristan knocked on his door, though with him being the light sleeper that he is, it woke him up almost instantly. He stood up from bed, and then almost went tumbling to the floor again, having forgotten his injury. He disregarded his usual morning routine and just set about getting dressed quickly, and once that was done, limped over to the door. Whoever could it be on the other side? He opened the door, and was surprised for a moment before he remembered what happened the night before.
"Oh. Hello."

There was some noise and Tristan cocked his head and frowned. What was going on in there. It took a moment before the door opened, but when it did, he was relieved to find that at least it was indeed the man he had helped last night. "Hello... Am I disturbing?"

Yes. "Not at all," Anthony said, and stood there awkwardly for a few seconds as he thought about what to do now. It's not as if he gets enough visitors to know what to do in such a situstion. "...are you going to come in or...?"

"Oh, yes." Tristan said, and he stepped in, looking around. "I'll just check your liver and kidney and then I'll leave you in peace." he said, half to Anthony, and half to himself. "How's your ankle?"

That was acceptable. Anthony let him inside, and then closed the door behind them. "Alright, then," he nodded, and continued with an answer to his second qiestion. "same as yesterday, I guess." He had to still lean on things for support to be able to walk properly and mostly painlessly, but the initial pain had mostly faded by now.

Tristan nodded. "It will probably be painful sometime. If you still can't walk on it at all in two weeks or so, come and see me." He set down his bag and took out his stethoscope. "You better sit down, before you fall over."

Anthony nodded. Though he did question the logistics of how he could go see him if he couldn't walk. "That's probably a smart thing to do," he laughed as he found himself a seat. Well, time to get this over with.

Tristan put the earplugs in his ears. "If you would just lift your shirt." He did hope nothing was the matter. It seemed, from the fact that the man was able to stumble about that he was alright. Well, not alright, but not in the danger zone either.

Anthony took a second to shift himself into a position that wasn't uncomfortable and painful, and once he did, he obliged and lifted his shirt up. He, also, hoped that nothing was the matter. Last thing he needs is another injury to fret over.
