"Thank you," Anthony thanked him once again. He was about to say 'you too', just on pure instinct, but realized last minute that that probably wasn't the best thing to say. So he just...shut up. Better for the both of them, that way.

Tristan didn't know what to say without possibly turning the mood and so he kept quiet and just focused on walking in just the right pace.

That suited Anthony just fine. They walked for a bit in complete calm and quiet, until Anthony started to recognize the buildings around them. This meant they were close! Great! He beamed, and if it were physically possible for him to, he'd basically be running home at this point.

Tristan frowned. "Is it still far?" He didn't know this area of town after all. Thinking of that... This wasn't the area of town he wanted to be in on a dark evening... He started to look about him.

"No," Anthony said, getting a bit annoyed now. "right over there, actually." He gestured in the general direction of some buildings.

"Alright..." said Tristan. He bit his lip, trying to hide his discomfort. He hoped he could find his way out of here, and soon too. He didn't want to get mugged.

It is hard not to notice the discomfort a man is feeling when you're basically nose-to-nose with said man. "You okay?" If the answer was not 'yes' he was just going to ignore it.
