Elijah nodded and smiled weakly. "I would love to visit and make sure she is alright. And I can understand, it would be a true worry that Anne goes and doesn't come home. I don't want her to make things difficult for Alice or Tobias."

Ben frowned. "Well, I suppose Tobias would put her on the train, but she's been so lost without Alice... But yes, if you could, sometime, that would be great. I wouldn't mind an extra pair of eyes."

Elijah nodded, "If anyone could handle this town solo for a few days, it would be him. I will have no problem leaving town for a little bit after he's here if he can come. Then I can tell you what I think of their situation."

Elijah nodded and thanked Ben again before hearing Anne come in. He was surprised as he thought she'd be with the boys out. "Hello, Anne. How're you? Everything been going alright?"

"I had sent the boys you're way." He looked at the wood. "Not much today."
"I must 'ave missed them..." Anne said.
