RE: Strange thing, mystifying - Anthony Rowe - 01-20-2020 Anthony has been blessed. After being headbutted, he reached out to pet her, but pulled his hand back when she turned her head to look towards the kitchen. As she hadn't left, however, Anthony took this as an invitation to give her all the pets she deserves. "Oh, what were you looking at? At the kitchen? Elijah's going to prepare you food there....because you're such a pretty and cute kitty and you deserve everything in the world....." Anthony cooed. He has been blessed on this day. RE: Strange thing, mystifying - Elijah Crane - 01-20-2020 The cat purred at the attention. This human knew how to treat a cat, not like some who pet her the wrong direction or wanted to touch her face and her delicate whiskers. The cat rested in a loaf like shape to enjoy the pet though she was growing impatient for her food. The moment that Elijah's shadow moved to show he was coming into the room and put a small dish of food on the ground, she rushed to eat. The constable's smile was so big it was like his face was going to split. "Isn't she just fantastic?" RE: Strange thing, mystifying - Anthony Rowe - 01-20-2020 Anthony pet the cat delicately, cooing over just how pretty and cute and wonderful and amazing and nice she is. And recoiled in a brief moment of surprise as the cat rushed away as soon as Elijah returned with her food. He'll just fawn over her from afar, then. "She is! She's so wonderful and pretty and..." Anthony's giggle as he looked at the cat eating interrupted his sentence, but he had already made his point so it was fine. RE: Strange thing, mystifying - Elijah Crane - 01-20-2020 Elijah nodded as he couldn't agree more. "You can always visit. She is a glutton for attention, even if she doesn't admit it." RE: Strange thing, mystifying - Anthony Rowe - 01-20-2020 Anthony will respect and admire and fawn over this cat until the end of his life. "I'm so glad! She's so pretty and wonderful..." Anthony so wants to adopt a cat now. Though he is sure that his cat would pale in comparison to her... RE: Strange thing, mystifying - Elijah Crane - 01-20-2020 Elijah nodded and grinned as the cat soon finished and groomed herself after her meal. "I am so lucky she chose me. She is a really great cat." He gestured for the man to sit so that maybe she'd sit on his lap for a warm comfortable place. RE: Strange thing, mystifying - Anthony Rowe - 01-20-2020 What a majestic and gorgeous creature this cat was. Anthony continued to admire her, at least until he noticed Elijah gesture from his peripheral vision. Sitting down, Anthony turned most his attention to the house itself, as difficult as the task was. "She is!" he agreed. "Cats are so...." Anthony didn't finish his sentence and instead just gestured vaguely and grandly with his hands. RE: Strange thing, mystifying - Elijah Crane - 01-20-2020 Elijah nodded and sat beside him looking towards the cat who took the hint. She hopped up onto the sofa and stretched out cheerfully on the stranger. "She is indeed." It didn't matter which word the man meant, so many fit the majesty of a cat, and Diane seemed to emphasize it grandly. RE: Strange thing, mystifying - Anthony Rowe - 01-20-2020 Anthony giggled to himself as the cat jumped up on the sofa, stroking her head gently and delicately. Cats were beautiful little creatures and Diane was certainly no exception. "This is nice," Anthony said, completely engrossed in petting the cat. Therapy is expensive but petting cats is free. RE: Strange thing, mystifying - Elijah Crane - 01-20-2020 "It is. I'd be a wreck if it weren't for her. Come pet her anytime. She likes you." He smiled and seeing the car chose Anthony's lap, he got up to wash his hands from wearing gloves all day. "Sure you don't want a cup of tea or anything while you're sitting there ?" It was another shot at hospitality between them that didn't require a cat. |
