RE: Strange thing, mystifying - Anthony Rowe - 01-27-2020 Anthony had spent the day being surprisingly more productive than usual, mostly out of pure boredom more than anything else, though. He washed the dishes, cleaned up to the best of his ability until he started worrying too much to keep going (after all, he didn't know if Elijah would mind him doing this, and decided not to take a risk), the whole deal. When Elijah had returned, though, Anthony was sitting on the sofa, humming, stroking Diane with one hand and propping himself up with the other. RE: Strange thing, mystifying - Elijah Crane - 01-27-2020 Elijah came in and blinked as something seemed odd. He came up to Anthony and smiled. "Hello, how was your day?" He leaned down to give him a very short and quick kiss before looking around and was surprised when he realized. "Did you clean?" RE: Strange thing, mystifying - Anthony Rowe - 01-27-2020 Anthony perked up as soon as he saw Elijah come in. "Hey, Elijah. My day was good," Anthony said, definitely very excited that Elijah returned but trying to downplay just how much. "yeah, I did. Hope you don't mind." RE: Strange thing, mystifying - Elijah Crane - 01-27-2020 "It looks great, you must have worked rather hard." He chuckled and slipped an arm around him to rest his cheek against Anthony's. "Of course I don't mind. I want you to feel at home here. You can certainly clean." RE: Strange thing, mystifying - Anthony Rowe - 01-27-2020 "I guess so," Anthony said, smiling at the affection. Cleaning up isn't really...that difficult or attention-worthy as Elijah is making it out to be but he won't reject the attention he's getting. "so am I your maid, now, then?" He grinned to show that it was a joke and he didn't mind actually doing shit. Just a joke. RE: Strange thing, mystifying - Elijah Crane - 01-27-2020 Elijah giggled and went along with the joke. "I was thinking more housewife, but whatever works for you." He smiled more and hugged him. "I'm still very grateful , you didn't have to. Unless you're telling me my house is filthy?" He said playfully. RE: Strange thing, mystifying - Anthony Rowe - 01-27-2020 "Either works," Anthony chuckled, leaning into the hug, before pulling away and raising his hand to his chest in a faux-shocked way. "Are you telling me that I would be so rude as to say that?" He gasped and asked very overdramatically, finding it difficult to hold back his laughter as he spoke. RE: Strange thing, mystifying - Elijah Crane - 01-27-2020 The constable gaped at him and his eyes went wide. "So it is true!" He gasped dramatically but his lips curled up as he smirked and couldn't keep it up. He broke into laughter. "Sorry.. I-I'm a terrible liar.' RE: Strange thing, mystifying - Anthony Rowe - 01-27-2020 Anthony found himself breaking character and also bursting into laughter, returning to Elijah's side as he did. "Oh, don't worry, I can do enough lying for the both of us if necessary," Anthony reassured, as if he himself wasn't also a horrible liar. RE: Strange thing, mystifying - Elijah Crane - 01-27-2020 Elijah grinned huge and nodded. "Works for me?" He shrugged though he couldn't think of a time where someone should have to lie. He chuckled trying to catch his breath and leaned into him. "Missed you today." He muttered full of sincerity and blushed. |
