RE: Just Ordinary Post-Race Drama - Loretta Ward - 06-14-2022

Lory’s eyes widened in disbelief, and she looked between the much less handsome fellow and her dear sister. Then, she crinkled her nose.

“You mean he can’t,” she dropped to a whisper, though not nearly quietly enough.

She jacked the air above her crotch with a disgusted yet intrigued look.

“Get it up?”

And then looked blatantly to Tobias again, letting her hand drop limply in equally subtle emphasis.

Those hands were up when Alice screamed Anne’s name, and Lory too was at the side offering a hand.

Unfortunately, this also meant her nice dress got sprayed with only slightly diluted vomit.

RE: Just Ordinary Post-Race Drama - Mehmet Gardinier - 06-14-2022

Mehmet was covered in vomit, including an entire solid chunk on his face, arms outreached to a now vacated spot. He stood, looked down at himself … and then ended up vomiting on the watery vomit himself.

RE: Just Ordinary Post-Race Drama - Zechariah Meijer - 06-14-2022

Zechariah heard a familiar voice, and his face whipped toward him.

“Elijah!” he said, glowing from equal parts self-righteous fury and did he always look so heroic? “My God, is that what they call buying eggs now?” he shot back at Tobias.

Zechariah enjoyed three (3) seconds of the smug last line before-- POW! STARS. He went down with barely even a yelp in his shock.

RE: Just Ordinary Post-Race Drama - Ropati Fa'afili - 06-14-2022

“Wine for sale!” called out a cheery voice as a tall fellow in a tophat wheeled a cart racked with wine. “Wine for--”

Ropati took one look at this sorry mess and continued on silently.

RE: Just Ordinary Post-Race Drama - Christine Pennyfeather - 06-14-2022

Christine frowned as this was a lot to handle. She really just wanted a nice day on the water. When she saw a fight break out. She immediately moved to the boat again and helped them get the girl on the ship and found an emergency blanket to wrap around her to keep her warm.

RE: Just Ordinary Post-Race Drama - Murphy Maddock - 06-14-2022

Murphy rose his brow and helped Mehmet away from the water since his help wasn't accepted. He got sick trying to help and the girl didn't want it? He never could understand most people. He handed the man a handkerchief to clean himself up a little. "We should get you cleaned up." He said. Guess spending a day making friends would have to wait.

RE: Just Ordinary Post-Race Drama - Elijah Crane - 06-14-2022

Elijah was trying to get a grasp on the situation, but was shocked when Ben hurled himself at Zechariah. "What are you doing!?" He rushed to pull him off of his friend and hope he wasn't injured from the attack. "Pull yourself together, Ben!"

RE: Just Ordinary Post-Race Drama - Alice Appleton - 06-14-2022

Alice was almost grateful for Anne's dramatic interruption, so that she didn't have to answer Lory's question. her cousin was wrong, probably - Tobias hadn't even attempted it - but Alice was too embarrassed to think about it at all.

They had just pulled Anne up into the boat (the smell of vomit from now two individuals made her feel sick as well), when she realized what was going on on shore. Her father had attacked Mr. Meijer. "No stop!" she shrieked, more for Mr. Meijer's sake than for what would surely happen to her father.

RE: Just Ordinary Post-Race Drama - Anne Ward - 06-14-2022

Anne had hardly processed what had just happened, and had just wrapped the blanket the pretty lady handed to her around her shoulders, when she heard Alice shriek and looked at what was happening ashore. She did not shriek but stared in silent horror, her hand pressed against her mouth.

Justice at last.
