"Let us hope it is that easy. I've done my research on the man and he is... not a very nice person." Her sigh was soft, "I suppose I invited this hell onto myself in this case." She snorted and then finally moved to pull on the nightgown she had previously discarded. She felt as relaxed as she was going to get at the moment and then said, "I promise there are no more woes to tell, and I appreciate that you have listened to me spouting them off like a kettle ready to boil over. I do not mean to be so... I don't know..." She then lay back and said, "Perhaps he will change his mind when he learns there were two heartbeats." She bit into her lower lip.

Chéri made a sound with their mouth “What a surprise,” they shook their head “Most men aren’t.” They specified. Chéri shrugged with satisfaction and shook their head “Not at all. It is nice to talk like that. It’s hard to talk, in general, and here… well, I am even less good at talking. And people take that for stupidity. And normally I don’t mind but… it’s getting a lot, you know?” Chéri shook their head and stretched a little, making all the muscles in their back tense and then relax again. “If you ever want to talk again...” Chéri winked. “Or if you want me to let Darius know about something.” They added.
