Gabriel finally finished his prayer. But he kept his hands in his pockets for warmth. "It's cold, isn't it." He wondered when his toes were going to fall off.

The last thing he wanted to do now was to just have another conversation with this guy. "Yeah. Yeah, it sure is," Anthony said, still not looking at Gabriel.

"You alright?" he asked, when the other man seemed disturbed. He hoped he wasn't going to have another panic attack.

"Yeah, I'm very alright," Anthony nodded. He was counting the minutes until he could just get the fuck out of here. It didn't seem that that would be happening soon, though. He put his hands in his pockets, for completely innocuous reasons (such as the fact that it's cold and he wants to keep warm).

Gabriel nodded and made himself smaller to try and preserve heat. "Are you from Whitby?" he tried to make small talk again.

That didn't work. But Gabriel tried again. "I'm not. I'm from Hull. We have a harbour, but its entirely different from here. None of Whitby's charm."
