RE: Strange thing, mystifying - Anthony Rowe - 01-26-2020 Anthony enjoyed the silence between them. That's not to say that he disliked talking with Elijah, though—on quite the contrary, he liked it a lot, but there was something to be said about just...being in eachother's company in complete silence. Or so he thought. He was no poet or anything. Anthony glanced at Elijah for a moment, considering doing something but figuring it to be too bold to do in public. Besides, this was just fine for now. Anthony sighed, very content with this. RE: Strange thing, mystifying - Elijah Crane - 01-26-2020 In no time, Elijah found the closest place to get a drink. He walked in and took a seat at the bar, glancing over as if a small nervous worry that he wouldn't sit right beside him. "What would you like?" RE: Strange thing, mystifying - Anthony Rowe - 01-26-2020 Anthony sat down right next to Elijah, hoping that him being utterly smitten by him wasn't very obvious. "Just an ale," he shrugged. Anthony wasn't much of a drinker unless it was a special occasion or he was really depressed and he sure as well wasn't depressed, so... RE: Strange thing, mystifying - Elijah Crane - 01-26-2020 Elijah nodded and ordered two, since he was fine drinking the same. When the drinks arrived he held his up and smiled. "To ... " Us? Nothing so obvious.. " The future?" He blushed still but smiled brightly. RE: Strange thing, mystifying - Anthony Rowe - 01-26-2020 Anthony would gladly toast to that, and as such he did. "To the future," he repeated and nodded with a bright grin, before sipping from his glass, now. And how he hoped the future would be good to them both. RE: Strange thing, mystifying - Elijah Crane - 01-26-2020 Elijah smiled brightly as he drank to the toast. He certainly wasn't used to it, but it helped him relax or maybe it mixed with the euphoria of realizing he found someone who knew his secret and they felt the same and they were wonderful and beautiful and all was right with the world for the moment. RE: Strange thing, mystifying - Anthony Rowe - 01-26-2020 Anthony downed his entire drink after a bit of time, definitely faster than he would have had he been drinking alone. Honestly, he was just....excited about this whole thing. About having a person that he genuinely likes and trusts immensely that he can just...be with. It was something he wasn't used to at all, but appreciated immensely. RE: Strange thing, mystifying - Elijah Crane - 01-26-2020 Elijah was slower but not by much. There wasn't much to talk about but he was still having a good time. He looked towards him after his glass was drained. "Did you have any idea what you wanted to do? The beach had been a great idea so..." RE: Strange thing, mystifying - Anthony Rowe - 01-26-2020 Anthony turned back to Elijah as the latter broke the silence yet again. "I mean...not really," he said. He'd gotten so caught up in this euphoria that he almost forgot about that. "but I'm....open to ideas, of course." RE: Strange thing, mystifying - Elijah Crane - 01-26-2020 Elijah nodded and smiled. "Then we can just walk around town. Maybe something will come up. Did you want another?" He gestured to his drink, he didn't need another as he felt more relaxed now though it was probably more due to the chance to relax than any alcohol. |
