Calm in their mind, Chéri considered for a moment if it was a good idea to actually try to fight back. They didn’t care so much to be insulted, they were used to it. But if the man got obsessed he could become a nuisance. Ultimately, Chéri decided they were way less interesting if they just looked scared and stupid. So they kept looking horrified and scared and reached for their shoes, then they started to run in the absolutely wrong direction, ready to speed up enormously if Wesley intended to chase them.

Wesley looked over in surprised as he ran. "I knew you were suspicious. I will find you!" he called out. He wasn't about to run along the beach after some brat and shook his head. Just get out a word about a suspicious young man in the area and someone will turn him in. He folded his arms and watched until the guy was out of sight.
