Darius looked to his brother in delight. "You would? That is so kind of you." He didn't want to dig a hole, it was hard labor, but he could. How hard could it be after all? You stick a spade into the ground and the earth just comes up. "Thank you. I owe you quite a favor! Come. I will show you where I left him."

Roger eagerly jumped to his feet, unable to help the rush of excitement. If Darius took his time with the hole then maybe that would give him the time he would need to experiment with the creature.

When they stepped outside, Darius looked side to side. He put his hands on his hips and frowned. "Where is it?" He heard growling and two of the dogs were playing tug of war about to rip it into pieces. "Stop it!!" He ran to them waving his arms. "What are you doing?!?"
