He shrugged and ruffled his hair. "If you can't ignore them and they are really bothering you, that's why there are constables. If we can't fix it we might be able to help with a solution."

Bram thought for a moment and then nodded. "What if I become a teacher? I could tell pupils what to do!"

"You're no good in school, though." Will stood in the doorway.

"Morning, Will. Sleep alright?" He wanted to greet the boy as it was too early for this sort of discussion. "Please, no fighting. Just because he isn't good now doesn't mean it can't change. Bram is still young."

Elijah gasped. "What? Do not be mean. No insults. Alright?" He almost threatened to punish them with no made up lunch but it wasn't fair to starve the boys just because they had their bad habits encouraged at home.

Will decided that he was obviously the grown up here, and he turned to Elijah. "I was just being realistic... Can I help you make breakfast?
Bram stuck out his tongue to his brother.

"Some people go to school for longer. And I still believe Bram can learn even if it isn't words. He can learn something well if given a chance." Elijah said and shook his head. "Just.. why don't you boys sit and relax while I cook." He was getting on edge with the constant aggression between the two. He didn't know how to stop it.
