RE: The Cavemen - Gabriel Richards - 05-22-2020 Gabriel wasn't sure what to do. When the man began to cough, he placed a hand on his back. RE: The Cavemen - Anthony Rowe - 05-22-2020 Anthony wasn't coughing anymore, and his breathing ended up slightly better than it had been before. It was still quite frantic and irregular, though. When a brief moment of calm appeared, he whined kind of pathetically. RE: The Cavemen - Gabriel Richards - 05-22-2020 Gabe frowned at the noise. "We're going to be alright..." he said, as calmly as he could. He wished he had more comforting words to share, but Gabriel knew nothing about the sea. RE: The Cavemen - Anthony Rowe - 05-22-2020 Anthony was, miraculously, beginning to kind of get himself under control. He was breathing heavily, trying to pull himself together enough to be able to just 'take a deep breath', as advised. It didn't really work all that well, but, hey, at least he wasn't doing as bad as he was before. Anthony dug his nails into his palm. RE: The Cavemen - Gabriel Richards - 05-22-2020 "There, that's better..." Gabriel said, and he pulled his hand away, because he did not want to invade the other man's space unnecessarily. He stepped away and sat down on the ground, not caring that it stained his clothes. It wasn't like that was the greatest concern now. RE: The Cavemen - Anthony Rowe - 05-22-2020 It took some time for him to calm down to the point where he's actually lucid, again. He didn't quite reach that point, but the one that he did reach was close enough, so he didn't quite care. Anthony closed his eyes, put his arms around his knees, and just rest his head on his knees. His breathing was still very shaky, but he wasn't hyperventilating anymore, so that was good. RE: The Cavemen - Gabriel Richards - 05-22-2020 Gabriel looked at the man with pity. He had seen men scared before, but the reaction seemed unnatural considering the situation. After all, they were on dry ground. Perhaps he had a bad experience with water. "Had you been out for a stroll?" He decided changing the topic might take the man's mind off his fears. RE: The Cavemen - Anthony Rowe - 05-22-2020 Anthony subconsciously moved his head a bit as he heard the other man speak. "Yeah," he responded, nodding a bit as he did. He's never going to go anywhere near the cliffs again, after this, that much was clear. RE: The Cavemen - Gabriel Richards - 05-22-2020 "It's quite a magnificent area," Gabriel kept the conversation going. "I love watching the fossils." RE: The Cavemen - Anthony Rowe - 05-22-2020 Anthony raised his head a bit, and rest his chin on his knees. "Oh. I've never done that." He didn't quite understand what's so likable about looking at old rocks, but he wasn't about to say that. |
