"That's rare among your class," she said ruefully. "But we mustn't think of it now, must we?" she asked in a sing song voice. She floofed at her hair and gave a dazzling smile.

Suddenly Anne straightened her back. "It isn't!" she said sharply. "There's lot's o' good people among my own. Ye just haven't taken the effort to get to know 'em an' rely on what people tell ye an they don't know us either!"

"And why would I do such a thing? It's unseemly for me to be in the company of the lowly sort." She sniffed. "I have a reputation to uphold, after all." She fluffed at her pretty curls, "Part of that involves the company I keep."
