He looked bothered by the idea. "You are the guests and you kids need a good sleep since you have so much work tomorrow. I really don't feel right sleeping in the bed. "

"Ye can still sleep in t' bed as well." He poked Bram awake. The boy groaned. "Move to t' bed."

Elijah gave a nervous smile. "Its alright. I don't want to bother you kids. It's fine this way, I insist." He decided to help by picking up Bram. "I'll put him in bed. He is very sleepy."
"Come on sleepyhead."

"I'm a big man, I can do it." Bram muttered drowsily, but he instantly fell asleep again in Elijah's arms, and didn't wake up when the man put him to bed.
"Do ye need owt, Elijah? Tea?" Will asked.

Elijah took off Bram's shoes and tucked him into bed. He shook his head at Will. "You just rest. It'll be fine. Just sleep well."

"Alright, thank you Elijah." The boy said, and like the night before, he knelt down, sat his prayers, and crawled into the bed beside his brother.

He tried to not feel like he was eavesdropping on the young man but gave him a smile when he heard his thanks. "Thank you. I've enjoyed the company, you and Bram are great to have around when you're not fighting. I'll see you in the morning, sleep well."

The boy was soon asleep. But Bram was up before the others the next morning and was trying to light a fire.

Elijah woke up and walked into the room then blinked wide eyed. "B-bram? What are you up to?" He didn't want to yell and upset the boy. "I can help you, if you like. It's not.. always easy to get .. a good fire going."

Bram turned his head and beamed at Elijah. "I know how to do it. I've seen me sisters do it." He had forgotten to remove the ash of the day before.
