RE: Business to settle - Elijah Crane - 06-08-2020 Elijah gasped and got a towel to wipe it up. "It is alright. You're very weak. Let me get you something dry to wear.." He smiled weakly as he wanted to let him know it wasn't a big deal. "I can change the bed sheets too if you don't mind laying on the sofa? I can carry you if you can't stand." RE: Business to settle - Anthony Rowe - 06-08-2020 "It's– it's just water," Anthony said, and put the glass away, lest he spill any more of it on himself. He felt bad about being such a burden for Elijah, but there was really nothing either of them could do about it, so he just kept silent about that guilt. "it's fine. I don't mind having to lay on the sofa." He wasn't sure about whether he could actually walk, or not, but he didn't want to burden Elijah even more. "I can stand. Probably. It's fine." RE: Business to settle - Elijah Crane - 06-08-2020 Elijah looked up and could tell he looked bothered. He smiled weakly. "Come on, I'll help you. Any chance to have you in my arms after all, right?" He held out his hands for the man to take, hoping to realize that he was happy to help him. RE: Business to settle - Anthony Rowe - 06-08-2020 Anthony knew that Elijah was happy to help him, but that feeling of being a burden just couldn't be shaken. "Right," he said eventually and nodded after a moment of silence, and took Elijah's hands. He felt so awkward. RE: Business to settle - Elijah Crane - 06-08-2020 Elijah lifted him into his arms and carried him to the sofa. "Thank you. I want you to be comfortable and take it easy." He laid him down gently and put a quilt over him. "Want another glass of water?" RE: Business to settle - Anthony Rowe - 06-08-2020 Anthony held tightly onto Elijah as he carried him to the sofa, letting go once he laid him down. "No, I'm fine," he shook his head. He didn't really trust himself to not fuck up with something as easy as drinking water, again. RE: Business to settle - Elijah Crane - 06-08-2020 He nodded slightly, "Well, if you're sure. I can give you a mug with a handle if it would be easier..." he didn't want him to go thirsty. RE: Business to settle - Anthony Rowe - 06-08-2020 "No, it's fine, really. Promise," Anthony said, not really wanting to debate this for any longer. He was about to continue talking, when a sharp pain ran through his head for a moment. He winced, trying to hide the fact that he was still in pretty big pain. RE: Business to settle - Elijah Crane - 06-08-2020 Elijah gasped and knelt down. "Are you alright? Is there anything I can do? " He considered leaving to get a doctor despite Anthony's wishes. RE: Business to settle - Anthony Rowe - 06-08-2020 "It's nothing. Just a headache," Anthony said, despite the fact that in this context a headache is certainly not 'nothing'. He didn't want Elijah to worry about him, so he just tried to pretend everything was alright. |
