Elijah noticed he didn't let go. While he couldn't feel the softness or warmth, he relished it. He squeezed his hand a little and kept his smile even. "I hope your day goes well."

When Elijah snapped his hand, his heart skipped a beat, and Gabriel snapped out of it. He let go at last. "Thank you," he said, flustered. "I'll show you out." He quickly passed Elijah so he wouldn't have to look at him, and led the way. He held open the front door.

It ended so quickly. He let out a small sigh but gave a small 'thanks' as he followed him out. When he left, he looked back at him and waved. "Stay safe." He smiled and then hummed as he left.
