Jules possesses a stocky frame. Broad shoulders, thick but firm waist, muscular legs. Hands and fingers are heavily calloused, looking twenty years older than their owner. Though his fingers look worn, they are strong and dexterous.
Jules prefers to keep his hair slicked back and his beard sharp and trimmed, though in times of duress he'll allow it to get long and shaggy.
Hidden beneath his mustache, Jules has a scarred upper lip, given to him by a particularly drunk school mate when Jules was sixteen years old.
His face is decorated with a cheeky smile and green eyes his mother, Agatha, always labelled as "far too mischievous". |

The eldest son of the Everett family, Jules was groomed since he could walk to take over his father's business. He spent his youth learning how to sew, cut, dye, stitch, patch, sand, polish, seal, shine, and mend. His mother, Agatha, worked as a seamstress for many years, balancing work and motherhood with two rambunctious sons.
In his teens, Jules had an attraction to trouble, often finding himself on the wrong side of the law. Countless acts of tomfoolery and disorderly conduct were noted.
Upon his father's death from consumption, Jules cleaned up his act and took over the family business, becoming a successful cobbler in London. However, as time marched on his clientele became flooded with suspicious and dangerous individuals, individuals who eventually wanted to revisit Jules's prior life as minor criminal.
In an effort to escape the ever-watchful eyes of the London crime lords who wished to roll him into their schemes, Jules and his younger brother, Asa, have left for Whitby.
Will their efforts be rewarded, or are the Everett boys destined to have trouble shadow them wherever they run? |
