"Fine!" said Noah, desperate to be left alone.

Francis smirked and clasped his hands together as if in thought. "What is your happiest memory? And don't make it lame like you actually got lucky with a girl once or something stupid like that. Something truly happy."

"I did actually get lucky!" he said. Lucky had turned out to be not so lucky.

Francis shrugged, "So have I, I'm not impressed. I want a real happy memory.'

"I was happy then! Probably the happiest!" he said. "Now keep yer promise and sod off!"

Francis cracked a smile. "Nope, I clearly said it didn't count with me. So you gotta pick something else."

Noah shrugged. "Gettin' a good meal?"

Francis frowned and he waved him off, getting to his feet. "Forget it. You're either not trying or your life is too pathetic, and all I can do is pity you. I think I'm tired of watching you and you can suffer alone." He turned to leave the way he came.

"Thank God!" he said. "See you around, asshole!"

Francis barely glanced back. "I hope you drown in a rain barrel, pitiful fool." He sighed and walked off.
