RE: Cats and Diamonds - Madeline Gale - 08-28-2019

Madeline looked surprised when she raised her arm. She wanted her to hit her. The flimsy woman couldn't have had much strength and she would certainly have kicked up a fuss. This embarrassment would not have gone well with the people at the Diamond Pony. She'd have certainly been punished for it. But the woman was a coward and didn't continue, what a shame.

She was about to say something but the woman walked away and seemed to have some sort of health issue. Good, she hoped it was serious. As far as Maddie was concerned, she had disliked the woman for her looks and where she worked but after speaking to her, she hated her. She was a conceded bitch as far as she was concerned. Maddie had little in life except to survive and her hatred for her father and his family. The later was pointless since they were back in Hull as far as she knew. But now she had a new mission in life. She was going to humiliate Sonia in some way. If she was lucky, it would be so bad she would be ostracized and even kicked out and left on the street. The older woman was going to teach her life wasn't some fairy tale where you got what you wanted in the end. She would knock that smug look off of her pretty face if it was the last thing she did.

RE: Cats and Diamonds - Sonia DeAngelis - 08-28-2019

She was blessedly unaware of the older woman's misplaced jealousy and anger. Sonia had not done a thing to deserve the way the lady twisted things around in her brain to suit her needs, all she was doing was trying to shop a little for someone else. Life was most certainly no fairy tail for the tall blonde, it was a living nightmare. At the moment, she was wondering what on earth she had forgotten... The whole affair had simply vanished from her mind.

She also had a head ache. There was nothing smug about her expression, only pain. The guard took her elbow and she shook her head softly, "I'll be alright, thank you. I just need to get the gift." She didn't even pay attention to Madeline, hell, didn't recognize her. She glanced over to the woman in question and stared through her for a moment, but not one spark of recognition could be seen in her stormy eyes.

Madeline didn't care about the lack of recognition. It only made her angrier. This woman thought so much of herself she didn't care about someone she thought lower. She gave her the evil eye, if it were possible to do such a thing. She pointed at her own eyes then at Sonia then back and nodded. The blond had better watch her back, Maddie was going to be looking out for her. She grabbed her head baskets and frowned before turning to get them home.

Sonia stared at the woman when she got her attention, a look of genuine confusion on her face when the broad was doing this thing with her fingers, pointing to her own eyes and then at Sonia... What in the hell? Sonia straightened up and remembered the woman again, but not the conversation, only that she was mean and bitchy. "What is your problem, Stronza? Who pissed in your breakfast?" And with that, she shook her head in bemusement and turned her back to buy a pretty little choker for her maid. The guard was quietly observing the woman who was being unreasonably mean to the blond, knowing both his master and the Madame would want to know these little details.
