Gabriel swallowed... Was that....? And then the man started laughing. He looked up, irritated. If people had no respect for the house of God, could they not at least have some respect for this poor woman? He was glad to see the old man go, at least.

He had almost forgotten what he had been doing, but then he noticed the bandage in his hand. "Ma'm, please let me bind that wound..."

She opened her hand to let the priest tend to her wounds, minor as they were, and frowned. "Did somebody just....?" Yes, yes someone farted in church.... now they must sit in their own pew.
