Tristan nodded. "It's okay. You must be in a lot of pain." He knelt down beside Anthony, moved the ankle in the right position, and began wrapping the bandage around it, tightly, but not so tight as to cut off the blood flow.

"You could say that." Anthony looked to see what he was doing. Turns out, it was the most mundane thing ever and Anthony was very uninterested in it. He just sat back and waited for the bandage-y thing to be done and over with so that they couldĀ both move on already.

When Tristan was done bandaging, he helped Anthony put his shoe back on. "Well, I guess you'll need help getting home in this state. Where do you live?"

Finally, this was over. Took some bloody time. "Thank you," said Anthony, thanking the good doctor for his help, and then promptly told him his address, for 'stranger danger' was a concept completely foreign to him.

Tristan was surprised that the man actually thanked him. It seemed he was capable of manners after all. Maybe he was just mistrusting of strangers and that explained his earlier rudeness. "Right, well, I'll walk you there." And he held out his hand to help the man up.

"Right," Anthony nodded his head, as he took his hand and pulled himself up. His leg still hurt and he still didn't trust himself to take a single step alone, so this suited him just fine. "thank you." He thanked the man yet again, just for good measure.

Tristan nodded, put his arm under the man's armpit again and began to lead him outside.

Anthony made no fuss as he was led outside. He stayed quiet, leaned against the man, and walked alongside him, very eager to get back home and rest for a decade or two. "I'm sorry for being rude to you," he eventually broke the silence.

That certainly took his by surprise, so much so that he stopped for a moment, though he soon began to walk again. "That's alright... Thank you. I mean... I suppose our last encounter wasn't exactly in pleasant circumstances, so you must have been suspicious."

Yay for forgiveness. Anthony smiled. That was one thing off his conscience. "Yeah, I guess you could say that," he said, having decided that was a much nicer thought than the reality, whoch was that Anthony was simply being a bitch for the sake of it.
