RE: The Wedding - Elijah Crane - 05-15-2020

Elijah sighed looking at Will. "You have had to grow up so fast. I don't think-" He didn't get to finish as Bram had made a decision and ran from them. He jumped to his feet and hurried after the boy trying to grab him before he could cause a fuss. "No, you can't!" He said quickly.

Before Bram could reach the door, Elijah grabbed him. Bram struggled and cried: "I won't let them take my sisteeeeeer!"

Elijah frowned and shook his head. "Please.. you must see things from her side. She has to do this. If it were up to her, she would stay with you. Please, think of your sister. I know it isn't easy, but you have to.' He hoped Bram would understand and he slowly put him down but didn't let go in case he tried to run inside again.

"But she can't! She don't want to! And I don't want her to! Let gooooo, Elijah!!!!!" The kid was basically screaming.

Ben stepped out and quickly closed the door behind him. "Will you cut it out!?" he hissed at Bram.

Elijah frowned at Ben, "Sorry for the noise. Why didn't you explain it to Bram better? He's very upset.. 'He explained as he tried to keep the boy from running inside.

RE: The Wedding - Benjamin Ward - 05-15-2020

Ben frowned annoyed. He was stressed, anxious, and upset, and the last thing he needed was Elijah telling him off. "He's been there all the time. It's just been chaotic," he said, with a little more anger than he wanted.

"I won't let him take Alice away!" Bram shouted.

"You shut up now, or go play somewhere else!" Ben warned.

Elijah's eyes widened. He scooped up Bram to hug the boy as he stared at the man. "Ben!I know things have been very hectic and stressful for you, but show some compassion for your son. He hasn't realized what was going on because no one has told him. He just now realizes that he won't see her for who knows how long after today. He's very upset and I think its completely reasonable. While you may not have the time and ability to say a kind word to him, you shouldn't be so harsh."

Ben put a hand over his eyes and frowned. He was about to break down. He took his hand away. "Just... Bram, we'll talk later. Just don't cause a scene now."

"You can't take Alice away! I'll find her and rescue her!" Bram shouted, struggling against Elijah's grip.

Elijah nodded. "Thank you Ben. Please go inside, I'll handle it out here. Sorry again." He led Bram away and looked at the boy. "I'm a constable, right? And it's my job to save people who are in trouble, right?"

RE: The Wedding - Abraham Ward - 05-15-2020

Ben looked relieved and nodded at Elijah. "Thank you Elijah."

Bram cried and still struggled. "Then you must save Alice and keep her here."

"You're dumb!" snapped Will, who couldn't keep quiet anymore.
