RE: The Wedding - Elijah Crane - 05-15-2020

Elijah shook his head as he kept Bram from running off. "Do you think I've not spoken to your sister, Bram? If I can not rescue her, it means I can't. She doesn't need to be rescued..' he wanted to say want, but he wasn't sure that would be taken right. "Please, you shouldn't hurt your sister. This is important to her."

"But she tried to run away last night." Or did that mean she didn't want to be here? Bram was confused and upset. "I don't understaaaaaand."

RE: The Wedding - Elijah Crane - 05-15-2020

Elijah shook his head. 'It is a hectic time and there aren't always clear answers. But she is standing with him on her own. So please, respect her wish and be happy for her. You can ask her all you want later when you see her again, alright?" He hoped Bram would start to calm down.

RE: The Wedding - Abraham Ward - 05-15-2020

Bram cried, though calmer now, for he was tired. "I don't want her to go. I don't want the money. I want her to stay here."

RE: The Wedding - Elijah Crane - 05-15-2020

Elijah smiled sadly."It isn't about the money. It's so that her and her baby are taken care of. She couldn't have that here. Please be happy for her. She wouldn't want you to cry."

RE: The Wedding - Abraham Ward - 05-15-2020

Bram pressed his lips together and tried to stop crying. He sniffed.

Will walked over and put a hand on his brother's shoulder. "Maybe if we are really good, and work very hard, we'll earn more money and we can see her more often, and she will be so proud of you."

RE: The Wedding - Elijah Crane - 05-15-2020

Elijah smiled huge, "That is a wonderful idea and so very mature of you, Will. Don't you agree, Bram?" He looked at the younger boy.

Will glowed.

Bram sniffed and still looked sad, but he nodded slowly.

RE: The Wedding - Elijah Crane - 05-15-2020

Elijah nodded, feeling relieved and overjoyed that they both agreed to Will's plan. "Then let that be it. I will try to help you both make money, I am sure I can find someone who will pay you a little to run an errand or do an odd job for them, if you'd like.'

RE: The Wedding - Abraham Ward - 05-15-2020

Bram nodded eagerly, though his trembling lip proved that he was still fighting not to cry.

Ben and Tobias stepped outside at that moment, holding pipes.
