RE: Just a penny - Noah Longbottom - 02-24-2020

Noah cursed, because it was a waste of good beer - not because he had spilled it on the other man - and because he didn't want to draw attention to himself. "I didn't mean to!" he said.

The two men approached. "You causin' trouble again, Noah?" one of them asked.

Noah slid off his chair and moved, until he was just behind Francis. "Am not!"

RE: Just a penny - Francis Tully - 02-24-2020

"I believe that but it doesn't change things." Francis sighed in annoyance. When he saw the men approach and realized 'Noah' was hiding behind, he found himself shielding him. "Oh no.." He side stepped to slip behind the younger man.

"When is the youth not causing trouble?"

Noah looked at Francis and would have glared if he wasn't so frightened. It angered him that he was. There was nothing these two could do to him in a public place without getting in trouble and still the mere sight of them made him cringe.

"Yeah well go an' cause trouble outside, will ye!" The barman interrupted.

"I wasn't causin' any trouble!" The boy shouted. "Piss off, all of ye!" He rushed out.

Francis shrugged and was about to drink his beer but saw the barman glaring and wanting him out. The unfairness of it all! He clenched his fists and followed the other guy out. "You ruined my night."

Noah turned around. "It was an accident!" He looked for the fishermen, but was relieved to find that they had not followed the man out.

Francis shrugged. "Didn't say ya did it on purpose. It still happened. You owe me a beer."

RE: Just a penny - Noah Longbottom - 02-25-2020

The boy scoffed. "Well too bad for you. I've got no money."

RE: Just a penny - Francis Tully - 02-25-2020

Francis grinned. "You had no money earlier, either. You can get more."

RE: Just a penny - Noah Longbottom - 02-25-2020

"Fuck off." Noah put his hands in his pockets and walked off.

"Hey, you ruined my night  You can't tell me what to do..." Francis said a bit more seriously ad he followed him.
