RE: Suffering the Slings and Arrows - Anthony Rowe - 02-06-2020

Anthony started trying and making a conscious effort to try and breathe and not be pathetic like this, to limited success—though maybe the humming could be credited with helping him a bit. It was a bit comforting, at least.. He was still gasping and wheezing and hyperventilating for air, but less so than before. He can't let himself be weak. He's strong, isn't he? He is.

RE: Suffering the Slings and Arrows - Elijah Crane - 02-06-2020

Elijah thought it was helping, so he kept doing it. He sat in a chair nearby but not too close. He wanted to hold and comfort him but this was the best he could do.

RE: Suffering the Slings and Arrows - Anthony Rowe - 02-06-2020

Anthony gasped a bit weird and fell into another damn coughing fit, desperately trying to get back to a somewhat steady and fine state again, but it wasn't working very well. He doesn't want to be here. He wants to be anywhere but here. Anthony squeezed his eyes shut, just wanting to disappear or die or anything.

RE: Suffering the Slings and Arrows - Rose Willaby - 02-06-2020

Rose burst back in with the doctor on her heels.

RE: Suffering the Slings and Arrows - Elijah Crane - 02-06-2020

Elijah stood to greet them. "Thank you so much, Rose! Doctor, right this way. This is my friend, Anthony. He has been in a panic like this and have had trouble breathing. Please, is there anything you can do?" He moved out of the way so that the man could get to him without anyone in his way.

RE: Suffering the Slings and Arrows - Anthony Rowe - 02-06-2020

Anthony was very slowly beginning to get better and actually breathe somewhat fine, but Rose returning with a doctor did nothing to help that. That was what scared him most, again. What were they going to do to him? The thoughts and possibilities rushing through his head scared him. He was scared and terrified yet again and wanted to not exist. Anthony shook his head as a response to nothing in particular, but this situation in general.

RE: Suffering the Slings and Arrows - Rose Willaby - 02-06-2020

"Alright... let's see." the doctor said. "You tell me he panicked? Hyperventilation? I'm going to give him a tranquilizer. That should make him go to sleep for a while, and he should feel better - or at least be out of this state. If this happens more often, you'll need to bring him in. He prepared a shot. "Can you hold out your arm for me, please, sir?"

Rose looked at Elijah.

RE: Suffering the Slings and Arrows - Elijah Crane - 02-06-2020

Elijah looked nervous but moved over and tried to carefully move his arm out. "You just.. need a good rest. You'll feel much better when you wake up.' He tried to assure Anthony though he knew he couldn't hear him. He really hoped as he helped try to move his arm that the man wouldn't fight it.

RE: Suffering the Slings and Arrows - Anthony Rowe - 02-06-2020

Anthony initially tried to pull his arm away and fight against this, but gave in after a moment out of pure fear of what'll happen if he fights it. He was terrified and almost entirely certain that he was going to fucking die, but didn't protest whatsoever anymore against that. Anthony tried to control and steady his breathing and crying as to not look pathetic in front of all these people.

RE: Suffering the Slings and Arrows - Rose Willaby - 02-06-2020

The doctor administered the tranquilizer and then got up. "Alright. Let's help him to bed, before we have to carry him." He his neck under the man's arm, and if Elijah helped, they carried him to the bed.
