RE: Suffering the Slings and Arrows - Rose Willaby - 02-06-2020

Rose was looking at the man confused. She would have thought it was a burglar had Elijah not spoken like that. But why was he hiding a guest in the bedroom? "Are you, okay, ser?" He didn't look like he was. He looked like he was about to die, hyperventilating like that. She tried to approach, but had to be careful not to step on glass. "Calm down. Try to breathe slowly, please..."

Whereas he usually would have perhaps been comforted or something of that kind by Elijah, right now he was just completely and utterly terrified. Anthony covered his face with his hands, his shoulders and hands shaking as he cried and hyperventilated. His panic was increased as he heard a woman's voice. Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck.

When Elijah returned, he saw Anthony was worse and Rose was not able to comfort him for some reason. "Anthony? It'll be ok.. ah.. t-this way.' he wrapped an arm around him to try to help lead him out. "Want to step outside for some fresh air?" He looked to Rose as if trying to ask if she could do him a huge favor and sweep up while he tried to handle Anthony. He had never seen him like this before.

But Rose was walking after them. "Elijah, shall I fetch a doctor?"

RE: Suffering the Slings and Arrows - Anthony Rowe - 02-06-2020

Anthony flinched as he felt someone touch him, and he didn't respond to Elijah's question whatsoever. Everything seemed so far away and yet so close and he felt as if he was going to faintĀ  His hyperventilating was briefly interrupted by a coughing fit, but resumed quickly after that was done.

Elijah frowned. "I don't know if a doctor can help. I don't know what is wrong."

He led the man outside to get some air. "See? You're outside.. it's alright. Breathe.. " He honestly didn't know what to do so he let him go when he was out of the house.

Rose frowned, but then turned back to sweep up the glass.

Easier said than done. Anthony held on tightly to Elijah's arm to support himself as to not fall. He attempted to steady his breathing, but failed miserably, and just ended up hyperventilating worse than before, whimpering in an almost pathetic way. While he physically may have been standing just outside Elijah's house, mentally he was somewhere else entirely.

Elijah didn't mean to hurt Rose. He really knew nothing about what was going on. "It's ok, I'm here. I'm not leaving.. Here, let's sit. Do you.. do you want to sit?" he asked as he offered for them both to just sit on his step. "Or would you rather go in?"

RE: Suffering the Slings and Arrows - Rose Willaby - 02-06-2020

Rose cleaned, meanwhile trying to glance outside. What on earth was going on? She had forgotten her own sorrows for a bit.
